Houseman – Luxury Residence

The Houseman is responsible to support the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and presentation of the estate’s indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring that all residential, guest, and service spaces are maintained to luxury hospitality standards. The Houseman plays a vital role in assisting housekeepers, setting up guest areas, responding to service needs, and performing general duties that uphold the estate’s high-quality environment.

JOB LOCATION – Fujairah, UAE

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• High School Certificate or equivalent (preferred).
• Basic training or certification in housekeeping operations or hospitality services (advantageous)
• Health & Safety / Manual Handling awareness (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Houseman or in a similar housekeeping support role, preferably in a luxury private residence, royal household, five-star hotel, or VVIP compound in the UAE or GCC.
• Familiarity with luxury household standards, guest protocols, and maintaining privacy in high-profile environments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Housekeeping & Cleaning Support

• Assisting with deep cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and furniture
• care across all estate areas.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of public areas, corridors,
• external patios, and storage rooms.
• Providing support to housekeepers during villa turnovers, guest arrivals,
• or event preparations.

General Duties & Guest Setup

• Assisting with room setups, moving furniture, placing linens, amenities,
• and arranging guest welcome items.
• Supporting with laundry collection/delivery, refreshment stations, and
• cleaning of outdoor seating areas.
• Handling minor repairs or maintenance tasks and reporting issues to
• the appropriate department.

Material Handling & Stocking

• Replenishing cleaning supplies, toiletries, guest amenities, and linen stock
• in housekeeping pantries or service stations.
• Ensuring proper storage, safe use, and handling of cleaning equipment
• and materials.

Outdoor & Back-of-House Areas

• Sweeping pathways, maintaining poolside cleanliness, and removing debris from garden patios or balconies.
• Supporting soft services team in keeping all external and service areas clean and presentable.

Discretion & Service Etiquette

• Demonstrating professionalism, cleanliness, and discretion when working in occupied villas or around VVIP guests.
• Understanding and following privacy protocols, especially in royal or high net-worth households.
• Adapting to schedule changes and responding promptly to ad hoc service requests.

Team Coordination & Safety

• Working closely with the housekeeping team, laundry, and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient operations.
• Following all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including the use of PPE where necessary.
• Reporting incidents, damages, or unusual observations promptly.

• AED 1,000 – AED 2,500 depends on experience
